[edit] Description

Goron OoT.png

Gorons are the rock-eating people who live in the Goron City, what is located at the Death Mountain. These Gorons get their food from the Dodongo's Cavern near the entrance of the Death Mountain Trail. They have eaten the delicious rocks from Dodongo's Cavern so long, that they don't like any other rocks that can be found near the city.

Gorons can roll at high speeds down the trails by placing their hands and legs on top of their tummy. Then they can roll and almost anything doesn't stop them. But a well-placed Bomb can slow down the speed of the Gorons and then they usually stop. The 'Hot Roller Goron' likes to roll around and test the abilities of the travellers if they want to stop him.

[edit] Famous Gorons

One of the most famous Gorons is the Goron named Link that is Darunia's son. He is the only one with the Goron Shopkeeper that was able to escape Ganondorf's followers. He gives Link the Goron Tunic in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The famous Gorons are the leaders of the Gorons, Darunia, that appears in Ocarina of Time, and Darbus, that is seen in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
