Talk:Rauru (Sage)
From Zelda Legends Wiki
Wise Man?????? Where is he called like that? I think this page should be moved to Rauru (Sage) or Rauru (Light Sage), because that's how he's called in OoT. Example:
You received the Light Medallion! Rauru the Sage adds his power to yours!

You're right; it is just that I was only working on the disambiguation of the two.--Iron Knuckle 10:08, 12 January 2006 (EST)
The article worked out pretty well if you ask me. The only thing that is missing is a game sprite of Rauru, but that is a difficult task to get done correctly. IMO After reading that you are Spanish do you have happen to have a Spanish version of LoZ or AoL; I am really curious how there names were translated. BTW: you can use the 2nd rightmost button at in the toolbox at the top to automatically insert the four tildes. Also the tilde should be located in the top left corner of a normal PC keyboard. --Iron Knuckle 13:57, 17 January 2006 (EST)
I don't have neither LoZ nor AoL (yet, because I'm going to recieve the Collector Edition. But I'm sure those games have never been translated to Spanish. Arturo 14:01, 17 January 2006 (EST)
- The NES versions were only translated into English. However, there might be European versions of the Collector's Edition or the Classic Series translated into Spanish, but I'm not sure. -davogones 21:53, 17 January 2006 (EST)
Peer Reviews
The structure of the article was good. I know your native language is Spanish, but you should use spell check before submitting articles. You were good at gathering evidence for your arguments, but sometimes you gave more weight to evidence than it deserved, and came to strong conclusions where weaker or no conclusion was warranted. I also noticed you used evidence from an official guide. Official guides are not canon. You should always add a disclaimer to your argument when you use non-canon evidence. -davogones 21:57, 17 January 2006 (EST)
This also explains how the other five sages *apparently* die and only their spirits go to the Chamber of Sages.
To which Sages are you referring? If you refer to the the Six Sages we all know (Saria, Darunia, Ruto...) I don't rememeber seeing the Sages to apparently die (except, maybe Darunia) and they're certainly alive at the end of the game, when they returned to Death Mountain. What do you mean by writing that??--Arturo 09:54, 18 January 2006 (EST)
- Lots of people think that the Chamber of Sages can only hold spirits, and therefore all the sages have died (even though the game doesn't show this). I'll try to explain that better in the article. -davogones 01:00, 19 January 2006 (EST)
Stained-glass windows
I mentioned the stained-glass windows representing the Sages in TWW. Would it be possible for someone to upload the images of these windows, so they can be included in the Sages articles.--Arturo 10:14, 18 January 2006 (EST)
Actually I'm working on that, for I was planning on getting several more images from the N64/NGC games I can also do a screenshot of Rauru in OoT (with improved brightness). The one you have is good, but a bit on the dark side if you ask me. This may however take some time, since I will have to play through the entire game again... --Iron Knuckle 14:19, 20 January 2006 (EST)
I got a higher resolution image for Rauru (in game), but I am not sure this is the best. I think I can get an even better one, but that may take some more time. I don't know if you would like me to replace the current one. So I'll leave it like this.--Iron Knuckle 16:22, 21 January 2006 (EST)
If it has a higher resolution, you should replace it, please.--Arturo 16:26, 21 January 2006 (EST)
