Talk:Anju

Why can't this page be merged into two: "Anju" ´(MM)and "Lady of the Cuccos" (OoT) (or something like that). I don't think there's any relationship between these two characters, only tha they share their aspect. This should apply for similar ones.

Majora's Mask began Nintendo's propensity to recycle characters. Anju is obviously recycled from the chicken lady in OoT. Therefore, I think it's appropriate to have them in the same article. I will make a redirect from Chicken Lady to Anju. davogones 03:56, 11 January 2006 (EST)

I was the one who renamed the article. Chicken Lady is much more accurate than Cucco Lady because one of the Gossip Stones calls her like that ( with capital letters). Although maybe it's better to have them together, I think we should call the article with both names (and that should be used with all the recycled chracters that didn't have name (although Chicken Lady has)) Arturo15:38, 11 January 2006

You're right, "Chicken Lady" is the official name from OoT. What do we do for recycled characters who don't have an obvious name? Or who appear in many games? I think in such cases it wouldn't be wise to list all the possible names in the article title. -davogones 12:33, 11 January 2006 (EST)

That's difficult to say. At least we can put them together with their MM counterpart. I guess we'll have to find the most suitable name for each character then. Cucco Lady = Anju in TMC

As the title reads in TMC Anju is refered to both Anju and Cucco Lady (and Cucco=Chicken in Zelda), hence it is rather pointless to seperate them anymore. So I've seperated them between games, if you have any better ideas please tell me. We have to be carefull with the other seperations too; Master Mutoh = Head Carpenter and such. This sure makes it hard to write good entries, though... So personally I would like to have Anju as the main article and 'chicken lady' and 'cucco lady' as redirections to Anju (just Anju).

Ultimately, I prefer to keep things as simple as possible. I only want articles to have one name, when possible. So I'm moving this back to Anju, and redirecting Chicken Lady and Cucco Lady to Anju. Maybe it's not a perfect solution but it's simpler than putting all her possible titles/names into the article title.

Also, I removed permission for normal users to move articles. If you think an article should be moved, put up your suggestion and we'll consider it. I'd rather that sysops have more control over the organization than regular users.
