The Darknut is an enemy similar to a knight. Although they were absent in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, they do appear in The Wind Waker. In The Wind Waker, when you defeat a Darknut, you are rewarded with a Knight's Crest. If you collect enough of these, you can be taught a special attack.
