What do you think of this German translation:

 Suche dort die Prinzessin auf,
 denn sie teilt Dein Schicksal.

I've translated it as "there look for the Princess, for she holds your destiny" the problem is that the verb teilen means divide. Someone who speaks German better than I? What do you think?--[[User:Arturo|Arturo]] 10:40, 13 February 2006 (EST)

Via a friend through a friend who knows German as a first language, it's translated as:
 Look there for the princess,
 since she shares your destiny.

So, "Princess of Destiny" isn't exactly used here in the German version.  Hm, I wonder how much the non-English games (and even the English ones) deviate from the original Japanese and from one another...  We all know ALttP was "Americanized", but since OoT on, they've been working hard at it.  And yet, Minish Cap has a "sword fight" when the original is a fighting contest, and it seems the European doesn't mention either!

I have talkjed to my teacher of German and she told me the same, that the verb teilen can also mean share. Because of this, I've corrected it. Although I don't speak a lot of German (it's my third language) my level is improving really quickly.--[[User:Arturo|Arturo]] 09:18, 14 February 2006 (EST)
