The Wind Fish is the creature that sleeps within the Wind Fish's Egg in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Koholint Island is its dream. The Wind Fish only awakens once Link has gathered the eight Instruments of the Sirens, played the Ballad of the Wind Fish in front of the egg, and defeated the Nightmares inside the egg.
