Royal Family (Hyrule)

Hyrule has traditionally been ruled by a Hylian Royal Family. Over the centuries, the Hyrulian Royal Family has often protected the Triforce or used it for good. At some point, a Hyrulian princess named Zelda was put under a sleeping spell by an evil wizard, and from then on all princesses in the Royal Family were named Zelda. The Royal Family is served by the Sheikahs prior to OoT, and over the generations have been served by the Impa family.
