Hero's Clothes

These are given to Link by his grandmother on his birthday. The entire ensemble consists of light green pants, a dark green tunic, brown boots, a green hat, and finally, a brown belt with stylish gold buckle. These are reminiscent of the clothes worn by the fabled Hero of Time. On Outset Island, it is customary to wear them. It is spoken of in the Legend of Hyrule. On an island, when the children reached a certain age, they were dressed in the green of fields. They were encouraged by the elders to find heroic blades and cast down evil.
