Right now, the sword techniques are mixed in with magic spells in their own category. Most of these techniques' pages will never be more than a one or two sentence stub. Therefore, I suggest combining them into one page. Below shall be laid out an example of how this may appear. Any game lacking any special sword techniques would be removed from the list. Alternately, this list could (and possibly should) be listed by attack rather than by game.

Bubble Blast

(I don't know if this is a sword technique, because I'm not familiar with Majora's Mask.)

Dash Attack

Usage: Equip Pegasus Boots and a sword, then dash.

Introduced in A Link to the Past, this attack allows Link to attack while running.

In The Minish Cap, Link learns this attack from the swordsmaster, Swiftblade.

Down Thrust

Usage (AoL): Jump, then press down. Usage (TMC): Jump with the Roc's Cape, and use the sword while in the air.

In The Minish Cap, Link learns this attack from the swordsmaster, Swiftblade.

Great Spin Attack

Usage: After performing a Spin Attack, keep pressing the sword button to continue the spin attack.

In The Minish Cap, Link learns this attack from the swordsmaster, Swiftblade the First. The swordsmaster, Greatblade, teaches the Great Spin Time Upgrade, allowing Link's Spin Attack to last even longer.

This move is similar to the Hurricane Spin.

Hurricane Spin

This move is similar to the Great Spin Attack.

Jump Attack

Peril Beam

Usage: When Link has only one heart left, swing the sword.

Similar to the Sword Beam, the Peril Beam fires a projectile attack.

In The Minish Cap, Link learns this attack from the swordsmaster, Waveblade.

Rock Breaker

Usage: With a strong sword, Link is able to break pots by attacking them.

In The Minish Cap, Link learns this attack from the swordsmaster, Swiftblade.

Roll Attack

Usage: By swining his sword as he finishes rolling, Link is able to finish his roll with an attack.

In The Minish Cap, Link learns this attack from the swordsmaster, Greyblade.

Spin Attack

Usage: Press and hold the sword button. After charging, release.

This is one of Link's common attacks since A Link to the Past when his uncle taught him the move.

In The Minish Cap, Link learns this attack from the swordsmaster, Swiftblade. The swordsmaster, Scarblade, teaches the Spin Attack Charge Upgrade, allowing Link's Spin Attack to charge more quickly.

Also in The Minish Cap, charging the sword fills Link's Spirit Gauge. The swordsmaster, Splitblade, teaches the Spirit Gauge Charge Upgrade, allowing Link's Spirit Gauge to fill faster.

Sword Beam

Usage: When Link's hearts are full, swing the sword.

Link's earliest sword technique, the Sword Beam fires a projectile attack. This move only appears in 2D games.

In The Minish Cap, Link learns this attack from the swordsmaster, Grimblade.

Up Thrust

Usage (AoL): Jump, then press up.
